Police in Habiganj have arrested two youths for violating a school girl and uploading the video footage of the incident on the internet.
The arrestees were identified as Rajon Deb, 21, son of Late Narayan Deb, a resident of Bogla Bazar of the town and Nurul Amin, 22, son of Makhan Miah of Umed Nagar.
According to the police sources, five youths including Rajon and Nurul allegedly raped the girl, a student of class VIII, at a house at PTI Road in the town.
The rowdy youths themselves took the video footage of the incident. Later on Sunday, they offered the girl to develop physical relationship again.
However, the girl denied their proposal which angered them. Following this, they uploaded the video footage of the earlier incident on the internet, leading the girl to inform her father about the incident.
Later, her father on Monday night filed a case against the five youths including the duo arrested under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act 2000 and the Information Technology Act 2008.
