Detective Branch (DB) of Khulna district police arrested two bombers from Tazpur village under Phultala upazila here on Wednesday night.
The arrested are Shafique, 25 and Faruque, 26.
Officer-in-Charge of district DB police T M Rokonuzzaman said, on a tip-off, a special team of the DB conducted a raid at the village and arrested Faruque from his residence.
Police also recovered five bombs, one shutter gun and 25 rounds of bullet from his possession.
On Faruque’s confessional statement police arrested Shafique alias bomaru Shafique from his residence.
A case was filed with Phultala Police Station in this connection.
