The court of Additional District and Session’s Judge in Jhenidah Sana Mohammad Mahruf Hossain on Sunday afternoon awarded life imprisonment to two young men for their alleged involvement in killing a rickshaw van peddler.
The proceedings in brief Mashiur Rahman and his friend Shamim Hossain called the van peddler Anarul Hossain, 222, from his village home at Sarutia of Sailkupa in Jhenaidah on September 14 in 2013 and killed him. As Anarul did not return home accordingly, his father Tofazzel Hossain filed a case against Mashiur Rahman and Shamim Hossain with Sailkupa police station on September 25.
