A court here on Thursday gave death penalty to two men for killing a woman and her daughter last year.
The court also fined Tk 5,000 each.
Mohitul Haque Enam Chowdhury, judge of Divisional Speedy Trial Tribunal, passed the order in presence of the accused.
The convicts are-Abu Rayhan alias Arju, 23 and Shaheed, 27, a professional killer.
Earlier on March 24, 2014, the duo stabbed and cut the veins of Rezia Begum, 50, wife of a C&F agent and their daughter Naznin Nishat, 16 in Agrabad CDA residential area after being rejected by Nishat.
