Bakalia thana police of CM P rounded up two foreign nationals and one local persons along with 7,000 pieces of yaba tablets on Friday midnight from Shah Amanat Bridge areas under Bakalia thana areas.
The foreign nationals identified as Mr. Frank and Mr. Richard of West African state of Ghana .The Bangladeshi national identified as Md.Masud. Officer In- Charge of Bakalia thana Md. Nezamuddin told that acting on secret information, police forces of Bakalia thana conducted raid ina Dhaka bound night coach at Bridge point and after searching the bus, these foreign nationals along with yaba tablets were detained.They were sent to court custody after entering case under narcotics act.
Unidentified woman found dead: Police recovered the body of an unidentified woman from Faujdarhat area in Sitakunda upazila recently.
Locals spotted the body at a banana orchard adjacent to the Railway Colony located on the north side of Faujdarhat KM High School in the morning and informed police.SM Zulfiqar Hossain, Officer-In-Charge of Sitakunda police station said the age of the deceased was around 21 years and her neck was tied with a scarf.
