Two persons were electrocuted at ward number 5 area of Charkholifa union under Daulatkhan upazila of the district yesterday.
The deceased were identified as Sakib Khan, 16 and Shamim, 28 of the area.
Officer in charge of Daulatkhan police M Enaet Hossain said Shamim was electrocuted when he came in touch with a live electric wire while Sakib tried to rescue Shamim and he was also electrocuted .
