Two meritorious students of the Department of Geography and Environment of Dhaka University (DU) have been awarded “AQM Mahiuddin Memorial Scholarship” for securing the highest CGPA in Bachelor of Science examination of 2017.
The recipients of scholarships are- Nishat Tasnim Kakon and Md. Amzed Hossen.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman distributed scholarships among the students as chief guest at a function on Sunday at the VC’s lounge of the university.
DU Treasurer Prof. Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin presided over the function while Chairman of the Department of Geography and Environment Prof. Dr. Rejuan Hussain Bhuiyan, donor of the trust fund Prof. Dr. Naznin Afrose Haq were present, among others, on this occasion.
