Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) last night arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 24,000 pieces of yaba tablets after raiding a private car in front of Nasir Memorial College at Lalpole under Feni Model Thana of the district.
A press release said this afternoon that the members of CPC-1 camp of RAB-7 conducted the raid at 11:30 pm yesterday and the cost of the seized yaba is estimated to be about 96 lakh. The detainees were identified as Mohammad Abdul Wadud, 23, son of late Abdul Latif and Bikrom Chandra Dash, 24, son of Dagon Chandra Dash of Comilla district.
“They have been supplying those contraband items from Chittagong to Comilla for long days,” said the press release.
