The moderate cold weave that has been swiping all over the country accompanied with cooler wind and dense fog for the last 3 days affected the normal life of the people of Bagerhat district town and its all the nine Upazilas. The cold weave already claimed 2 human lives under Morrelganj Upazila in the district on Friday at night, according to a delayed report received here. The cold victims are Md. Abdul Gaffar Hawladar (60) of village Dakkhin Sutalari and Mobarek Ali (57) of village Chomra under the Upazila. It is learnt from Morrelganj Upazila Health Complex source that every day children attacked with cold related diseases like pneumonia, bronchitis etc. are being admitted to the hospital for their treatment.
