Traffic Police of South Zone of DMP arrested at least two tricksters from the city’s Gulistan area on the charge of making fake money on Tuesday noon.
The accused have been identified as Md. Abdur Rashid, 45, and Manik Kumar Dash, 30.
The law enforcers also seized cash of Tk 13,200 and some anti-inflammatory drugs from the spot.
Earlier in the morning, a victim complained to the police that a trickster took his 11,000 cash money through deceiving. After getting the information, police started drive at Gulistan.
Finally around 12pm, they became successful to
pick up the two deceivers from the Fulbaria area.
Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Traffic Inspector (TI) of Kotwali South Zone confirmed the matter to the media and said, after arresting, police sent the deceivers to the Bangshal Police Station.
