A two-day special programme from December 16 to 17 will be held at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad, marking the Birth Centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Golden Jubilee of Independence.
Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s Birth Centenary Celebration National Implementation Committee is going to stage the event with the title ‘Great Hero of the Great Victory’, Chief Coordinator of the implementation committee Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury told a media briefing at International Mother Language Institute (IMLI) in the city on Monday.He said the two-day programme has been designed to reflect the country’s culture, nature and environment and progress of 50 years. “We are passing through an extraordinary time in the history,” he added.
