A two-day music festival will begin at Teacher Student Center on Dhaka University (DU) campus today.
DU Music Department will organize the festival while Vice-Chancellor of the university Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique will inaugurate the function and Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor will address as the chief guest.
The second day of the festival is expected to be addressed by the Secretary (Coordination and Reformation) of Cabinet Division NM Ziaul Alam as the chief guest.
However, Music Departments of DU and Jagannath University (JnU) as well as foreign artists came from India and China will perform music in the festival.
