A two-day Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) Cultural Fest-2017 ended on the university campus at Mirpur Cantonment in the city on Saturday.
The final round of the festival was held at Bijoy Auditorium on the campus, said a BUP press release.
BUP Cultural Club organized the festival under the supervision of Disaster and Human Security Management (DHSM) of the Arts and Social Sciences Faculty of the university, the release added.
Jahangirnagar University became the champion while BUP secured first runner-up and Armed Forces Medical College secured became second runner-up in the festival.
BUP Vice-Chancellor Maj Gen Md Salahuddin Miaji addressed the concluding ceremony of the event as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners.
BUP teachers, officers, students, and senior officials of the university were present at the function, among others.
