A 2- day-long ‘Career Fest Chittagong 2016 ended yesterday ( May 07 ) at Port City GEG Convention Center jointly organised by JOBSBD.com and Chittagong City Corporation in association with Daffodil International University.
Creating job opportunities for the skilled educated and youngsters of the nation, Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) and country’s first job portal JOBSBD.com in association with Daffodil International University jointly organised the ‘Career Fest in Chittagong 2016’ for the first time in Chittagong.
Chittagong City Corporation Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin inaugurated the Career Fest as the Chief Guest.
Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil Group presided over the inaugural ceremony while Mahabubul Alam, President Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sufi Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, Founder Chairman, PHP Group, Prof. Dr. Yousuf Mahabubul Islam, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University, Prof. Dr. A K M Azharul Islam, Vice Chancellor, International Islamic University Chittagong and Dr. Farid A.Sobhani, Chairman, BSHRM, Chittagong were present as the special guests.
The function was also addressed by Mr. K M Hasan Ripon, Chief Executive Officer, Jobsbd.com and Convener, Career Fest 2016, Mr. Taru Okajaki, Managing Director, Daffodil Japan IT Ltd., Ms. Mahua Rashid, Country Director, ACCA and Mr. Kazi Amin Ahmed.
This Career Fest would be a meet up point for Job Seekers and Employers, Learners & Institutions of Chittagong.
The intension of the Career Fest is to help the skilled, educated, fresher’s and youngsters of Chittagong to find their dream jobs, the employers to find their suitable candidates, the young people to find the right academic path. Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and ACCA are the strategic partner and Associate Partners of the Career Fest are BASIS, BSHRM, BOLD and DEC. Daffodil International University is the Knowledge Partner of this Career Fest.
The Career Fest will continue till on May 07, 2016 at GEC Convention Center (GEC Circle) from 10.00am and will be continued up to 8.00pm every day and the fair will be open for all.
The two-Day Career Fest includes: Job Showcase, Spot Interview Sessions, Seminar, Workshop, Career Guidelines and Meet the Leaders Sessions, new job opening, resume appraisals, Career clinic with skills assessment test, entrepreneur’s guidance camp, Master Classes, panel discussions focused on jobs, entrepreneurship, self employment, women entrepreneurship and many more.
