UNB, Dhaka :Amid the fresh threat by a group of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal to resume their protest programme against the newly formed committee of the student body, two crude bombs exploded in front of BNP’s Nayapaltan central office on Sunday night, leaving a person injured.The injured was identified as Rezaul Karim, an employee of the BNP office. Witnesses said the crude bombs went off in front of the BNP office around 9:55pm.BNP sources said the aggrieved JCD men, deprived of posts in its new committee, have threatened to resume their protest programme on Monday. On October 19, they postponed their demonstration and sit-in programmes in front their Nayapaltan central office following a fruitful meeting with BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
