Two cousins drowned in a pond while playing at Pedakandi village in Bhedarganj upazila here on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Rabiul Islam, 7, son of Ismail Sardar and Jubayer, 6 son of Rafique Bepari of the area.
Enamul Haque, officer-in-charge of Shakhipur Police Station said the kids went to their grandfather’s house and drowned in pond while playing at noon.
