Local people caught an assistant sub-inspector and a constable of Pirganj Police Station while allegedly taking bribe from a motorcyclist at Gogor in Ranishankoil upazila on Thursday,
The policemen were identified as Nur Alam, assistant sub-inspector of Pirganj Police Station and constable Mamun.
The accused policemen aided by some local goons were taking bribe allegedly from the unregistered motorcyclists in the area on Thursday.
Sensing the matter, local people caught the two policemen.
