Two people, including a woman, suffered burn injuries as miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at a bus in Signboard area of the city on Saturday night.
The victims were identified as Babul Hossain, a resident of Purba Chandara area in Kaliakoir upazila, and Sahida Yeasmin, wife of Lutfar Rahman, a resident of Kalameshwar area of the city.
Witnesses said a group of miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at the bus of ‘Balaka Paribahan’ when it reached Signboard area at about 7:30 pm, leaving its two passengers with burn injuries.
Locals took the injured to Tongi Hospital.
