Bogra Correspondent :
A five-year-old child and a college student drowned in separate incidents in Adamdighi upazila and Sonatala upazila respectively of the district on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Mashrafee, 5, Son of Mamun Hossain of Palanpara village in Alamdighi upazila, and Shirazul, 20, son of Bulu Mandal of Huakua village respectively.
Mashrafee drowned in a pond adjacent to his house while playing by the bank of the pond around 9.00 am.
Later, he was recovered from the pond and sent to hospital where on-duty doctors declared him dead.
