2 bodies found within 8 hours

Two bodies have been recovered from two different places within a span of eight hours in the port city of Chittagong.
A Noakhali resident, Nasir Uddin, 33, and Feni resident Jahangir Alam, 30, were found dead at different parts of the city on Friday.
 Nasir’s body was found in Jakir Hussain Road near the Eye Hospital in the morning while Jahangir’s body was found the previous night from Ambagan area under Khulshi Police Station. Khulsi police officer in charge Nijam Uddin told that a security guard of the Eye Hospital reported the incident when he saw Nasir at around 2am when he came to the hospital gate with wound on his left thigh.
 According the security guard, Nasir got down from a bus and came to the hospital for treatment but he (the guard) told Nasir that the hospital would reopen at 6 in the morning.
“We believe he died from excessive bleeding from the wound,” the police officer said. Police recovered the Tk 8,500 from his pocket. The investigation is underway.
 The OC said that the body of Jahangir, an employee at the Chittagong Exports Processing Zone, was found at 10pm on Wednesday night. “Jahangir was murdered by strangling and then his body was dumped on the road side. We have found marks on his neck”, the OC said adding “we are investigating.”
