2 bodies found in Savar, Ashulia

Police recovered the bodies of two men in Savar and Ashulia upazilas of the district on Wednesday morning.
In Savar, police recovered the body of a middle-aged man from a market of Savar upazila early Wednesday, five days after he allegedly committed suicide by hanging due to frustration.
The deceased was identified as Shahidul Islam, 38, a resident of Bhadail village in the upazila.
Police said a night guard at Munsur Market located at Savar bus stand found the hanging body of
Shahidul with a ceiling fan in a room of the first floor of the market on Tuesday midnight and informed police.
Later, sub-inspector Mazhar of Savar Police Station recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.
Police also recovered a suicide note from the spot.
“I (Shahidul) committed suicide not repaying loan taken from several NGOs on October 17,” says the note.
Quoting family members of the victim, Officer-in-Charge of Savar Police Station Mostafa Kamal said Shahidul killed himself for failure to repay loan.
A UD case was filed with the police station.
In Ashulia, a Readymade Garment (RMG) worker, Monirul Haque, 27, son of Abul Kashem, hailing from Mohendrapur in Kumarkhali upazila of Kushtia, allegedly committed suicide by hanging with ceiling of his room at Polashbari of the upazila early in the morning.
On information, police recovered the body in the morning and sent it DMCH morgue for an autopsy.
The reason behind the suicide could not be known yet, said Badrul Alam, officer-in-charge of Ashulia Police Station.
