Police recovered two unidentified bodies in the city’s Mirpur and Mugda areas on Thursday night and Friday respectively, police sources said.
Quoting the witnesses, Shah Ali Police Station’s Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Selimuzzaman said that decomposed body of a girl was found in the city’s Botanical Garden area on Thursday night. The deceased was dressed in salwar and kameez.
The body has been sent to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy, the OC said that police filed a case with the Shah Ali Police Station in this connection.
In another incident, Mugda at Police Station’s Sub-Inspector (SI) Abdullah Al Masud said that police following an information recovered an unidentified body near Anandadhara bridge in the city’s Mugda around 10:30 pm on Friday.
