At least two motorcyclists were killed as a van hit their motorcycle in the Mitragaon area in Chhatak Upazila of Sunamganj district on Wednesday midnight.
The victims were identified as Md.Badal Miah (26) and Alal (27), from Kalaruka union of Chhatak Upazila.
Locals and Police said the covered van struck the motorcycle when Badrul and Alal were returning home from Chhatak Bazar by the Chhatak– Gobindaganj Road leaving them dead on the spot.
Chhatak Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mostafa Kamal confirmed the matter and said they recovered the bodies.
The bodies have been sent to mourge for autopsy.
