BSS, Dhaka :Two of five Bangladeshi workers who were killed in a tragic road accident in Makkah on Wednesday would be buried in Saudi Arabia as desired by their families, according to the Bangladesh consulate in Jeddah.”The two who would be buried in Jeddah are Faridul Alam, 45, and Mohammad Alam, 36,” Md. Mokkamal Hossain, counselor of the Bangladesh Consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia told BSS over telephone yesterday.”Families of the two deceased have alreadygiven us consent to take necessary measures for their burial in Jeddah,” he said adding that the consulate would also take necessary steps regarding the burial of the other three Bangladeshi workers following consultation with their family members.”The bodies of three other victims-Ayub, 30, Mansur Alam, 30, and Najir Hossain, 35 – might be buried in Jeddah if their family members desire. Otherwise, they would be flown back to Bangladesh within the next two or three days after completing necessary formalities,” he added.
