Two men were arrested for allegedly raping an eighteen-year-old girl in a house in Dhaka’s Sabujbagh area on Sunday.
They are prime accused Sabuj Mia, 32, and his associate Abdus Samad, 35.
Sabujbagh police said that they were arrested from the same area after the girl filed a case with Sabujbagh Police Station on Saturday night.
Later, police sent her to One-Stop Crisis Centre (OCC) of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for medical test.

according to the girl, she and Sabuj got introduced through Facebook six months ago and they were in a relationship. On October 4, Sabuj called her to his place, by luring her with false promise of marriage, and raped her several times till Saturday.
“Later, she managed to file the case and we arrested the accused and his accomplice. The case is under investigation,” the SI added.
