Police rounded up two activists of Hijbut Taheri from Chowkbazar area on Sunday night. The detained HT men identified as Farhad(26) and Ashiqur RAhman (24) , all hails from Kadurkhil of Boalkhali thana in Chittagong. Asstt. Commissioner of police of Kotwali Zone Abdur Rouf told that acting on secret information about the presence of theHT activists , police conducted raid in a residential quarter and rounded up them. According to their confession, police recovered huge anti-govt publications- books, leaflets from Panchalaish and Syed Shah road of Bakalia thana in the night.
The detained are being interrogated by the thana police and case is under process, thana sources said.
