UNB, Sylhet :Two suspected members of banned militant outfit ‘Ansarullah Bangla Team’ arrested earlier have been shown arrested in the blogger Ananta murder case.The duo was identified as Touhidur Rahman and Aminul Mallick. When police produced Touhidur and Aminul before the Sylhet Metropolitan Magistrate Court on Tuesday, judge Shahedul Karim asked police to show them arrested in the case.A team of CID produced four people, including the two Ansarullah Bangla Team members, before the court with an appeal to show them arrested in the case.The others were identified as Ariful Islam and Jakirul Prakash. However, the court did not pass any order about them. Arman Ali, inspector of CID and also the investigation officer of the case, sought a 15-day remand for five people. However, the court fixed September 16 for hearing on the remand petition as one of the accused, Sadek Alim, was not produced before the court on Tuesday.On May 12, blogger Ananta Bijoy Das, also an activist of Sylhet Ganajagaran Manch, was hacked to death by a group of assailants in broad daylight at Subidbazar Bankalapara in Sylhet city.
