A team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two members of banned militant outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) from the city’s Gandaria on Monday night.
The elite force members also seized explosives and books that provoke extremism, said Ashrafi Tanzina, Operation Officer of RAB-10.
The accused are Razzaq alias Masum Hawlader, 28, from Patuakhali and Abdul Mumin AKA Sohel, 32, from Comilla.
The two were arrested when they were on their way to a training centre in Jessore from Narayanganj, the RAB official said.
A case was filed against them with the General Railway Police Station at Kamalapur on Tuesday, she added.
