Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 2.30 lakh pieces of Yaba tablet from Ledha area near the Naf River in Teknaf upazila recently.
Tekhaf BGB battalion-42 commanding officer Lieutenant Colonel Abu Jar Al Zahid said a patrol team of the border force challenged a group of people while they were roaming in the area suspiciously at about 8:30 pm.
They managed to escape the scene leaving behind four bags.
Searching the bag, the BGB members recovered 2.30 lakh pieces of Yaba tablet.
The estimated market value of the Yaba tablets is Tk6.90 crore, Zahid added.
