The Walton 1st National Women’s Softball Competition will begin from December 21 at the Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex in the city’s Dhanmondi.
Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association will arrange the softball meet under auspices of Walton Group.
A total of eight teams including Bangladesh Police, Bangladesh Ansar, district and club teams will compete in the three-day long softball tournament for women.
The eight teams dividing into two groups will participate in the softball competition.
Top two teams from each group will play in the semi-finals on December 22.
The winners of the semi-finals will face each other in the final on December 23.
