The 1st LabAid National Club Cup Surfing tournament began on Friday at Laboni point sea beach in Cox Bazar.
Tourist Police ASP Raihan Kaderi, Bangladesh Surfing Association (BSA) vice president Jamal Rana, BSA general secretary Moazzem Hossain Chowdhury, BSA treasurer Aminul Islam Liton and BSA members Kamrul Hasan , Kamruzzaman Hiru and Bodrul Alam Chowdhury and Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association Harunur Rashid, among others, were present on the occasion.
A total of 130 surfers from ten clubs are taking part in the in the four events of the two-day meet, organized by BSA, said a press release here.
The events are senior division, junior division, women’s division and beginner division.
The participating clubs are: Kolatoli Surf Club, Wed Rider Surf Club, Oshan Surf Club, Freedom Surf, Tigers Surfing, Web Fighter Surf Club, Bangladesh Surf Girls & Boys, Senti Surf, Surfers Club and Surfing Life Saving Club.
