A class I student was reportedly raped at Dudhshar village of Shailakupa upazila on Thursday.
Superintendent of Police Ariful Islam said Biplob, a neighbour of the victim, took the child to a field alluring her of giving ice-cream on Thursday afternoon and violated her.
Later, locals rescued the girl and admitted her to Sadar Hospital.
Victim’s father filed a case with Shailakupa Police Station accusing two people.
The SP said that they were trying to arrest the accused.
