The Walton Home Appliance 1st Division Chess League inaugurated on Monday at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room. Additional Director of Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.
On the first day of the game, Sonali Bank Sports & Recreation Club beat Basir Memorial Chess Club by 4-0 points, Golden Chess Club beat Protiva Daba Goshti by 3-1 points, Debadas Biswas Smirity Sangsad beat Farashganj Sporting Club by 3-1 points and Destiny-2000 beat Pradip Sangha by 2.5-1.5 points. The 2nd round games start on Tuesday from 3 pm at the same venue.
