Walton Air Conditioner 1st Division Volleyball League will begin on April 18 at the Volleyball Stadium in the city.
A total of eight clubs will compete in the league, sponsored by Walton and organized by Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF).
The champions of the league will get Taka 10,000.00 while the runners-up will have Taka 7,000.00 as prize money.
In this regards, a press conference was held on Sunday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium conference room to give all the details of the meet.
BVF general secretary Ashikur Rahman Miku, Walton additional director head of Games and sports FM Iqbal Bin Anwar and league committee’s secretary Kazi Abdul Hannan, were among others present on the occasion.
Participating clubs are Nobojagoroni Sangha, East and Boys, Swabolombi Society, Bhai Bhai Sangha, Madertek Mitali Sangha, East and Club and Shahbagh Sports Club.
