Some 207 booters, including 20 freshers, completed their registration with 10 clubs during the eight-day (August 6-13) players’ transfer for the ensuing First Division Football League at the Dhaka Metropolis Football League Committee Office here on Wednesday.
The 10 teams are: Bangladesh Boys Club, Friends Social Welfare Association, Dhaka United Sports Club, Jatrabari Krira Chakra, T&T Club Motijheel, Basabo Tarun Sangha, Dhaka Wanderers Club, Swadhinata Ekadash, Mohakhali Ekadash Club and Youngmen’s Fakirerpool Club.
The matches of the 10-team first division football league will be held at Bangabandhu National Stadium and Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city, beginning in the first week of September.
The two top teams of the league will be eligible to play in Bangladesh Championship League while the bottom team will be relegated to the 2nd Division League.
