The first day of the Terminal Examinations-2015 for primary and ebtedayee students in Chittagong division ended peacefully on Sunday .
Directorate of Primary Education (DPE), Chittagong division sources said the first day of the examination was held in a peaceful manner as the authority adopted all out preparations. A total of 20,246 out of 7,12,487 examinees were absent in English examination at different centres of Chittagong division.
Of the total examinees, 6, 14, 467 students including 1820,51 examinees from Chittagong district participated in the Terminal Examinations while 98,020 examinees sat for the Ebtedayee exams.
Adequate number of vigilance teams consisting of officials from DPE were deployed in 1,511 centres to check any sort of unfair means or irregularities during the examination.
According to the control room of the DPE five students have been expelled from the examination centres of the Noakhali district for adopting unfair means.
