The 1st Walton Beach Taekwondo competition will begin in the first week of October at Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach, said a Walton Group press release on Tuesday.
Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation general secretary Mahmudul Islam Rana said they are going to organize the beach taekwondo for the first time and if everything goes ok, then the competition would be taken place in the first week of October.
He also thanked to Walton Group to extend their support by sponsoring the competition.
Walton operative director head of games and sports FM Iqbal Bin Anwar said they always try to promote the country’s sports and as a part this consistency they have come forward to sponsor the beach taekwondo.
He said Walton Group has been trying to promote tourist hub Cox’s Bazar organising through various sports competition.
