A total of 19 people have died from coronavirus and coronavirus-like symptoms at the Covid-19 unit of Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) in the last 24 hours.
The deaths were reported in the last 24 hours starting from 8:00am on Tuesday (July 13) to 8:00am today, Wednesday (July 14).
Dr Mohiuddin Khan Moon, focal person of the Covid unit, confirmed the matter on Wednesday (July 14).
Besides, at least 283 people have tested positive for the Covid-19 over the same period.
Among the deaths, seven died of coronavirus infections while the rest 12 died of coronavirus-like symptoms.
