In the upcoming eleven parliamentary elections, 18 nomination forms of Awami League, Jatiya Party and Jatiya Party (JP) were bought for Cox’s Bazar-1 ( Chakaria- Pekua) Constituency. They bought nomination forms from Dhanmondi Awami League office in Dhaka for the last 4 days.
Similarly, the other two candidates from Jatiya Party and Jatiya Party (JP) office also nominated the nomination form. However, the number of prospects for the purchase of nomination papers could increase further, said more than one leader. It has been learned that in the last 4 days. Those who collected nomination papers from Awami League are: Former general secretary of Cox’s Bazar district AL Salahuddin Ahmed CIP, Chakaria Upazila Awami League president and upazila chairman Zafar Alam, district Awami League Vice-president Adv Amjad Hossain, District Awami League Vice-President and Joint general secretary of Rezaul Karim, Education and Human Resources B Yaka Secretary. Mohammad Ashraful Islam Sajib, Mayor of Chakaria municipality and Joint Secretary of Awami League Mohammad Alamgir Chowdhury, Chakaria Upazila Awami League General Secretary and UP Chairman Gias Uddin Chowdhury, District Awami League’s Industries and Commerce Secretary Khaled Mohammad Gemini, member ATM Ziauddin Chowdhury Zia, Member Mizanur Rahman, a member of Umme Kulsum Minu, General Secretary of Awami League of Matamuhhari Ampadak and UP chairman Mohsin Babul, Pekua Upazila Awami League general secretary Abul Kasem, Chakaria municipality Awami League President Zayedul Islam Lit, Adv Faisal Siddiqui, Publicity and Publication secretary of the United Kingdom Awami Bar Council and Khulil Ullah Chowdhury, Senio Vice-president of Chakaria Municipality Jubo League.

In the last ten general elections, Awami League nominated the Awami League nominee of Chakaria Upazila Awami League and current Upazila Chairman Zafar Alam. Later, due to the sharing of seats, the Awami League left the seat to the Jatiya Party of the alliance.
