Staff Reporter : Roads have become deaths trap again; no law or rule appears effective on the road and high-way.
At least 18 more persons were killed and several others critically injured in separate road crashes across the country on Saturday.
In Comilla, at least six more persons were killed in separate road crashes of the district on Saturday.
At Daudkandi, about three persons were killed and 12 others injured when a bus fell into a roadside ditch on the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway in Daudkandi upazila Saturday. The deceased were a male and two females and they couldn’t be identified immediately.
Daudkandi Highway Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Kalam Azad said.
At Elietganj, two persons includina a driver of a pickup died at Elietganj under the Daudkandi upazila of Comilla district on Saturday morning.
The deceased were identified as Fahad Ali, Supervisor of a Bus, but identity of the driver couldn’t be known instantly.
At Moynamoti , an unidentified women was killed when a police vehicle hit her on the Dhaka- Chattogram Highway on Saturday.
Mahabubur Rahman , Officer In Charge (OC) of Moynamoti Police told the news media.
In Brahmanbaria, at least two persons were killed when a truck rammed a bus at Shashai area in Bijoynagar upazila of the district.
The accident happened on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway around 6 am on Saturday.
The identities of deceased couldn’t be known instantly.

In Lalmonirhat, at least two more persons including a driver of a Private car were killed when a truck hit a private car at Hatibandha upazila of the district on Saturday morning.
The deceased were identified as Shariful Islam,22, of Nababganj village and Abdul Khaleque,55, from Khorigram district.

In Bogura, two motorcyclists were killed as their vehicle hit a tree beside Talora-Jamdar Road of Kalipara village in Kahalu upazila on Thursday night.
The deceased were identified as Suja Uddin Khan, 36, son of late Samsul Khan of Luknathpara village in Durgapur Union Parishad and also the former chairman of the union, and Lebu Khan, 55, son of Sabir Khan of the same village.
Officer-in-charge of Kahalu Police Station Sawkat Kabir confirmed the matter media.
In Gaibandha, at least two teenagers died under a private car in Sadullapur upazila of the district on Friday evening.
The deceased were identified as Al Mamun, 14, son of Nur Alam Miah, Milon Miah, 15, son of Lal Miah, from South Monduar village of the upazila.
Arshedul Haque, officer-in-charge of Sadullapur police station, told media.
In Lakshimpur, One named Md Alauddin was killed when a pickup van rammed a Leguna at Nordi area on the Ramgoti-Lakshimpur Road on Saturday morning.
Dr Anower Hossain, Resident Medical Officer of district Sadar Hospital confirmed the news media.
In Gopalganj, minor boy Nirab Mondal, 5, was killed when a motorcycle hit him in Rajapur area under Kotalipara upazila of Gopalganj district on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased was the son of Prafulla Mondal, a resident of Kadambari area of Agailjhara upazila in Barishal.
Kotalipara Police Station Officer in-Charge Md Kamrul Faruque confirmed the matter.
In Khulna, a teenager boy named Md Rabbi,17, was killed in Motorcycle accident at Lobona char area of the district on Saturday.
Md Shariful Islam, Officer In-charge (OC) of Lobonchar police told the incident media.
In Khorigram, an autu-driver named Tanjil was killed when a night coach bus hit him in Fulbari upazila of the district.
Deceased was the son of one Abdul Khalil of Balatoli village.
