18 cricketers test corona negative

The Bangladesh Cricket Board is scheduled to arrange the Covid-19 test for the 27 cricketers, who got Government Order (GO) for the upcoming Sri Lanka tour of Bangladesh Cricket team. A total of 18 cricketers underwent for Covid-19 test on Friday. They got their reports on Saturday. All the 18 cricketers have tested negative for coronavirus. Rest of the members of Bangladesh Cricket team underwent Covid-19 test on Saturday and they will get their report today. If they become negative for coronavirus test the full-fledged practice will start today.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) acknowledged the Sri Lanka Cricket the members of Bangladesh Cricket team will take in seven-day quarantine after they arrive in the island.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) cannot take a certain decision. Earlier, SLC proposed the members of Bangladesh Cricket team have to take in 14-day quarantine after they arrive in Sri Lanka. Later, SLC expressed the members of Bangladesh team have to take in seven-day quarantine in Bangladesh and take in another seven-day quarantine in Sri Lanka. But the members of Bangladesh team will not be allowed to take part in practice sessions during their quarantine in Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh team are scheduled to play a three-match Test series against Sri Lanka from the last week of October. The Test series is a part of ICC Test Championship.
