A 18-bed Rehabilitation Medicine Ward has been launched at the old outdoor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
BSMMU’s Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Quamrul Hasan Khan inaugurated the Rehabilitation Medicine Ward as the chief guest on Thursday morning.
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department of the university organized the inaugural function.
With department chairman Prof Dr M Mainuzzaman in the chair, the function was also addressed by Treasurer of the University Prof Dr M Julfiqur Rahman Khan as the special guest. Concerned physiologists, officers, nurses, technologists and employees including Surgery Faculty Dean of the university Dr Kanak Kanti Barua, Dental Faculty Dean Prof Dr M Ali Asgar Morol and Preventive and Social Faculty Dean Prof Dr M Sharfuddin Ahmed, among others, were present on the occasion.
Patients infected with various complex diseases including Rheumatology. Arthritis, Paralyzed, Shoulder Pain and Waist Pain will be able to receive treatment from this ward.
