The novel Coronavirus has spread to 13 Upazilas of Kishoreganj with cluster transmission confirmed in various areas.
At least 164 more were infected in Kishoreganj till Thursday evening.
45 are physicians, 21 nurses and 42 hospital staff of different hospitals, said Civil Surgeon Dr. Mujibur Rahman.
Three of them, one from Karimganj named Selim Miah (46), Hossainpur -Mizan ( 10 ) and Nitay Dutta (35 ) of Kishoreganj town have died.
According to the Civil Surgeon office and IEDCR, the Upazilas are: Bhairab 42, Tarail 24, Sadar 14, Kuliarchar 1o, Katiadi 12, Mithamoin 24, Austagram 3, Bajitpur 6, Itna 11, Karimganj 16, Pakundia 4, Hossainpur 2 and Nikli 5.
Civil Surgeon of Kishoreganj Dr. Mujibur Rahman said that they sent 141 samples for virus testing .
The government will set Coronavirus lab at Syed Nazmul Islam Medical College Hospital soon.
