Thousands of vehicles have remained stuck on Dhaka-Tangail highway due to long tailbacks from early Friday, causing immense and untold sufferings to passengers, specially the cattle traders. The highway is witnessing a 17-kilometre traffic jam from Bangabandhu Bridge to Pouli in Kalihati. In-Charge of Elenga highway police outpost Yasir Arafat confirmed the matter.
