In a bid to expand export market, seventeen Bangladeshi textile and garment companies took part in three international summer exhibitions — Techtextil, Texprocess and the Heimtextil — in Germany’s Frankfort, sources said.
The four-day summer special exhibitions started on June 21, according to a statement from Messe Frankfurt Bangladesh, one of the organisers of the event.
The exhibitors are very excited as they are getting a chance of having personal interaction with the visitors after a break caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Around 2,300 exhibitors (combined with co-located events) are participating in all three shows. Buyers from all around the world are visiting the exhibition statement from the organisers said.
Of the 17, some are participating under the Export Promotion Bureau and the organisers have allocated a pavilion for them in hall 6.2.
Bangladeshi exhibitors are highly excited by the show outcome and looking forward to getting a good number of orders from this Heimtextil Summer Special edition.
Some of the Bangladeshi participants are: ACS Textiles, Karupannya Rangpur, Momtex Expo, Noman Terry Towel, Zaber & Zubair Fabrics Ltd, Shabab Fabrics, Anzir Terry Towel, Apex Weaving and Finishing, Debonair Padding and Quality Solution and Nice Composite Textile.
For the first time, visitors can discover Techtextil and Texprocess virtually and benefit from new formats and exchange opportunities.
Next edition of Heimtextil will be held from January 10 to 13 in 2023, the statement said.
