Eviction drive of the much talked billboards in Chittagong passed 4th day yesterday .
On fourth day on Thursday, about 17 billboards were evicted from city area jointly eviction drive enforced by the chittagong Metro police and city corporation fro m Monday last. On 4th day of the drive, 12 billboards from Agrabad and 5 from Mansurabad area were evicted, sources said.The drive was led by Magistrate Nazia Sharmin and the Additional police commissioner AKM Shahidur Rahman. Among others Deputy police commissioner Tanveer Arafat, Asstt. police commisioner sioner Hasanuzaman and the Traffic Asstt commissioner Mahmuda Begum were present during the eviction period.Since launching eviction drive, about 32 bill boards wered removed from the roads.
Mentionable that city corporation handed over a list of 422 illegal billboards to the CM P authority for eviction, sources said
