The harvesting of Aman paddy in all the four upazilas of the district including Chuadanga Sadar, Alamdanga, Damurhuda and Jibannagar has just been completed.
During this season, a total of 1,62,225 tonnes of Aman rice have been produced in all the four upazilas.
According to Chuadanga district agriculture extension department office sources, 29,250 tonnes of paddy have been produced in Chuadanga Sadar upazila, 71,775 tonnes in Alamdanga upazila, 31,950 tonnes in Damurhuda upazila and 29,250 tonnes in Jibannagar upazila.
