Staff Reporter :The government is going to appoint 16,000 more assistant teachers in the government primary schools under the primary education directorate for the pre-primary education section.This was disclosed in a press release on Wednesday by the Primary and Mass Education Ministry. The interested candidates can apply through online from the 13th of December till the 12th of January.The press release said that the appointment would be given purely on temporary basis under the Third Primary Education Development programme for pre-primary education section. The government primary schools in the country’s 61 districts except Rangamati, Khagrachhari and Bandarban will get appointment. The Government previously gave appointment of teachers two times for the pre-primary education section.According to the press release, the male candidates will need to have a minimum honours’ degree and female candidates will require a minimum H.S.C degree.For appointment, a written examination with 80 marks objective questions will be set. Those, who will pass the written examination, will face a 15 marks oral examination and 5 marks academic which implies that candidates’ S.S.C. and H.S.C. results will also count.
