Staff Reporter :At least 16 traders were fined Tk one lakh and 13 thousand in total by a mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-3) in the city’s Hatirjheel area on Friday afternoon.Sarwar Alam, an Executive Magistrate of the elite force, led the mobile court, said Abdul Karim, Operation Officer of RAB-3. He penalised the traders on charge of selling rotten and expired meat and other food items, the RAB official said. The magistrate passed the order when they confessed their crimes during the drive, he said.
