16-member LDA team to join talks with PM

Left Democratic Alliance (LDA), a newly formed platform of eight left-leaning parties, on Thursday submitted names of the 16 members of its delegation to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Dhanmondi office for participating in dialogue with the ruling Awami League alliance.
The Awami League yesterday asked the left-leaning alliance to send names of its representatives for
the talks with PM Sheikh Hasina.
Responding to the call of the ruling party for the dialogue, the LDA on Wednesday submitted the list of the names of their representatives.
In a letter signed by Saiful Haque, coordinator of the LDA, the left-leaning alliance thanked Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for inviting them for the dialogue.
The 16-member LDA delegation includes Mujahidul Islam Selim, president of Bangladesh Communist Party (CPB); Md Shah Alam, general secretary of CPB; Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal (BSD) General Secretary Khalequzzaman; Bajlur Rashid Firoz, central committee member of BSD; Saiful Haque, general secretary of Bangladesh Biplabi Workers Party (BWP); Akbar Khan, polit bureau member of BWP; Shuvrangshu Chakraborty, central executive committee member of Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal (Marxist); Alamgir Hossain Dulal, central executive committee member of Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal (Marxist); Zonayed Saki, chief coordinator of Ganosamhati Andolon; Firoz Ahmed, political council member of Ganosamhati Andolon; Mosharraf Hossain Nannu, general secretary of Bangladesh United Communist League; Prof Abdus Sattar, secretaries’ council member of Bangladesh United Communist League; Moshrefa Mishu, general secretary of Gonotantrik Biplabi Party; Mominur Rahman Bishal, central committee member of Gonotantrik Biplabi Party; Hamidul Haque, convener Bangladesher Samajtantrik Andolon; and Ranjit Kumar, central committee member of Bangladesher Samajtantrik Andolon.
